Welcome to my corner of the sonic universe. I’m Alex Bayer—bassist, composer, educator, and full-time sound adventurer. My mission? To wander the wild landscapes of jazz, contemporary music, and any other sonic terrain that sparks curiosity.

I believe music should be alive—messy, surprising, and full of stories. On stage, in the studio, or in some experimental corner of the cosmos, I’m here to stretch boundaries, blend textures, and occasionally make the bass do things it probably wasn’t designed to do (sorry, bass).

When I’m not plucking, bowing, or composing, I’m sharing my love for sonic exploration with the next generation of groove-seekers. Think of me as a bass Jedi with a knack for artistic research and teaching.
